Fall Fun Weekend

10-8 We haven't tried painting very much, but we finally did, and Bryce and Brandon really enjoyed it!
I think their favorite part was coloring their water with the paint on their paintbrush. More paint probably went in the water than on the paper. :)

The boys have been learning about fall in preschool and they love to talk about the leaves changing colors. We have also been reading fall books and some of the boys' favorites are "The Little Scarecrow Boy" by Margaret Wise Brown, "The Scarecrow's Hat" by Ken Brown (they REALLY like this one), and "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert. We decided to go on a nature walk and collect leaves around our neighborhood. Bryce rode his bike and I pushed Brandon in the stroller. We collected lots of beautiful leaves of all different colors, shapes, and sizes.
Then, the boys made their own "leaf man".
Then, for family night after the same weekend, we carved pumpkins! We went to a neighbor's house Sunday night and they had their own pumpkin patch, so we went hunting in their backyard and came away with some great pumpkins.
